We are simulating the early days of social media when punk was pop and trust and safety teams were all but a dream. While the scenario is fictional, it is based on some real emo times.

Winners get party invites

Cabal parties at DEFCON are usually members-only, but we make exceptions for:

• friends of members
• the occasional passerby
• winners of our challenge (you're on the website for this year's challenge right now!)

What a win scenario looks like

You are looking to extract a passphrase that can be posted on the comment wall at https://myspace.club (or https://myspace.club/xCABALCOREx).

The correct passphrase will get you on your way to the party.

Previous challenges

Previous DEFCON challenges to gain entry to the cabal party have featured disclosing the origin IP for hate speech sites hiding behind WAFs like Cloudflare.

There are always multiple ways to solve the challenge, some more technical than others. At a minimum, all you need is your phone to participate.
